I wanted an everyday boot for when I when I want to look nice, but not dressy. They are just high enough for my long jeans not to drag the ground and low enough not to be too painful. Comment: I did not pay full price for these thanks to Amazon. I like these boots a lot. I got them in winter white, size 8.5 and they are VERY COMFORTABLE despite having a decent sized heel. They fit very true to size in my opinion in terms of both size and width. The quality is very good and they are really cute boots! The toe box is roomy enough despite being a pointy toe. I could ALMOST wear these to work, but since I walk to work, I don't tend to wear heels. I might attempt it one of these days in these boots since they are VERY comfortable.
