Customer Rating: Summary: Snowball Comment: My wife loves this coat.
It reminds me of those coconut sprinkled, marshmallow coated, cakes they used to sell. You know, two of them on a card, next to the Twinkies? Pink or white?
She looks like a Snowball. Yum!
Customer Rating: Summary: Columbia tyee sweater Comment: I agree with other review that the nylon ribbon sewn between the collar and body is really scratchy against the skin such that I have to remove it after a day wearing it or throw this jacket away. Well, I decided to spend time to remove it and I got 1 side of collar falled off so I had to sew it back using sewing machine!! Otherwise, the jacket is warm, light weight, and comfortable. I would prefer to have hand warming pockets instead of a small pocket on sleeve since it's small and useless. The original price $60 is way overprice. I did order 1 size up since most of Columbia tops run small on me
Customer Rating: Summary: Warm and does the job, but expected more Comment: I'm a big fan of Columbia products, but this jacket was a little below my expectations.
The pros:
It's warm, and not too bulky.
It fits nicely under my Columbia parka.
Has a small pocket on the arm too.
The cons:
The material is furry, like a teddy bear. Not quite what I expected. As a result, the "ice" coloured one I got looks dirty quickly.
There is no label at the back of the neck, but it's still scratchy against the skin because of some ribbon like material sewn into the back. It's extremely annoying because it's harder to remove than a normal label and probably not advisable anyway.
The cut is a little wide, so it's not really that flattering worn alone.
Wish there were more pockets for the hands in front of the jacket.
All in all, it's probably worth the price. I just expected more from a Columbia product.

Simply simplify or to simplify that quote into another, "Simplify". The Tyee creek is simple and meets your daily warmth needs. It can function in layering as insulation or be your brisk morning sweater. It packs well, is extraordinaraly comfortable and simply is functional.
