This produce bag is one more "going green" step and now my tomatoes, apples and brussel sprouts are gently carried in a hammock of organic cotton netting. These bags weigh a little more than plastic bags but tie and untie easily allowing for quick processing at the check-out line. I chose the organic to take the going green process one step farther. Though the original intent is for produce, other uses jump to mind. Such as a good plastic substitute for containing small toys or corralling items kept in a large bag such as a beach tote.
