Customer Rating: Summary: Bendon underwire failure Comment: Have been wearing Bendon for years. This new bra seemed well made and I was excited to try it. Immediately the wire poked through so I returned it for a refund.
Customer Rating: Summary: So uncomfortable Comment: I purchased this sports bra based on its good reviews and need for a new sports bra for my 34D's for gymnastics. I wore it once and thus could not return. It was so incredibly hard to get into and uncomfortable. I pulled at it throughout the workout and still had some spillage when I went upsidedown. I couldn't wait to unstrap it and did so as soon as my workout was over. I figured that since I could not return and it was a slight relief to unstrap (though it still is connected with a tee-back) I would cut out the straps which completely destroyed it. I would up throwing it out. I do not recommend this product.
Customer Rating: Summary: sports bra Comment: I play tennis 6-7 times a week and do a lot of running. This is the BEST sports bra I have ever used. I now have three and plan to order more. Runs true to size and keeps your shape. No uniboob, and no movement.
Customer Rating: Summary: No more black eyes! Best running bra EVER! Comment: This is absolutely the best bra (sports or otherwise) I've ever owned. It works AND it's comfortable.*
I had all but given up running until this bra. I can run for miles in this; there's absolutely no movement, and yet it doesn't mash my chest into an uncomfortable bread loaf. I also don't feel like I've got two bowling balls cutting into my shoulders; it really secures the weight with the band around the rib cage. The silicone-padded underwires prevent my breasts from being pressed under my armpits (no more chafing!)--and a bonus, it still gives me a good figure.
It's a little tricky to get it on the first time, but really no big deal after you've done it once. (Hint: put your head through the crossover first, then your arms, then pull down/position in front, and finally hook the back.) I typically wear a 36FF in the Fantasie or Fayreform brands, and it's true to the size in those brands. Intimacy, the specialty bra store, is the only bricks-and-mortar store that I know of that carries this bra.
The soft fabric, while wicking, is thicker than on most high-end sports bras, so you'll need to make sure to give it some air time to dry out after a good run. It has a soft feel to it, and while there's little give/stretch to the fabric, it's not the super shiny stuff. It feels more like a dri-fit fabric.
*(My former favorite sports bra was the Maia sports bra by Moving Comfort--it also did an excellent job of controlling movement, but the high seams under the armpits chafed my upper arms, and kept me from doing long runs.)
