More expensive than the Buxton, yes, however it is of a much better quality and well worth the added expense. I wanted something that would keep both my hands free. this bag serves that purpose but I thought is was going to be bigger than it actually is. It holds enough for a short afternoon out and it has a place for credit cards and such so there is no need for a wallet. My cell phone (Nextel) fits easily into the holder. It does expand but not a great deal. I was hoping that it would be something that I might use as an everyday bag but it is just not big enough.
