Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Useless in anything more than a light breeze Comment: I've had this umbrella (same model, different color) for several months now, originally purchased from Super Target. I'm only still using it because I haven't gotten around to buying a replacement. I only got to use this umbrella a few times before it turned inside-out during a briskly windy Texas day, snapping one of the tines. I repaired it with some strapping tape and the umbrella still works, but if I try to use it in any wind it takes two hands (which are already full with purse/work tote/lunch bag) and strategic maneuvering to keep it from inverting. Life's too short to struggle with an umbrella. Other than that, here's what I do love about this umbrella: * the comfort of the handle (the black is non-slip) * the bungy loop at the end (fits around my wrist perfectly) * the mesh carry bag (no wet umbrella dripping on me) My next umbrella will be a windproof style like the GustBuster Metro Wind-proof Umbrella. I recommend you spend a little extra and do the same. Customer Rating: Summary: UMBRELLA Comment: THIS IS MORE THAN I EXPECTED. IT IS BEAUTIFUL, COLORFUL AND IT IS BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP THE RAIN OFF !! Customer Rating: Summary: Great umbrella except for one thing Comment: This umbrella is exactly what I was looking for--sturdy, large, and opens and closes with the push of a button. Unfortunately, it also opens without the push of the button! It's necessary to keep the velcro strap around it in order to keep it closed; otherwise, it just pops open almost immediately after you close it. If it weren't for this most annoying flaw, I would've given it a 5-star rating. Customer Rating: Summary: Not really a rainbow Comment: I thought this would be an umbrella with a rainbow design. It is instead made up of different color gores so that one section is yellow, one green, one red, etc. Although it does not look the way I expected it to, it does open and close as advertised and it is an extra large size when opened. It closes into a compact unit as advertised. It definitely looks like a golf umbrella rather than a stylish one. Vendor should post a pic of the umbrella opened as the pic of the closed umbrella is deceiving. Customer Rating: Summary: I LOVE THIS UMBRELLA!
