I have an orginal Taxi Wallet purchased from National Geographic many years ago that is made out of a very supple leather. It doesn't take up much room in my purse. My recently purchase Taxi Wallet is missing the "Original" logo pressed into the front. Additionally, the leather is not as supple. Consequently, it is not as slim as my original and takes up lots of room. It stiff and not easy to manipulate. Very disappointing. I use the front snap pouch pocket to keep my receipts for the day and a rubber finger tip I use for counting or sorting paper. I use the space behind the pouch for my credit cards and other various plastic. The front fold is just right for small bills and back fold for my glasses prescription and a blank check. The Taxi wallet fits perfectly in my front pocket and looks good when I have it out. The one I had before worked perfectly for more than 5 years in the city, on the trails, casual dress and business dress. The craftsmanship for this new Taxi wallet provides confidence that it will last for at least 5 years. The price/value is perfect for me.
