My guess is that they were inferiorily made, I would not recommend this product. Customer Rating: Summary: Slippers Comment: The isotoner slippers are hard to find in the stores. I got two pair for my MIL and she loves them. She has problems with her feet and she can wear the slippers when she goes out without it looking like she is wearing regular slippers. These are and have been my favorite slippers for over ten years. They are comfortable and long wearing. This is the only style of Isotoner slipper I will say that about. Makes going into the basement (and stepping on a cold cement floor) much better. As well as walking around in the kitchen (which the kids always seem to have the floor strewn with crumbs and spilled drinks).
