I was only bringing one backpack so I needed everything to be as compact as possible. I was not let down - the anorak folded easily into itself and was very compact (about a 5x7 inch pouch, with little thickness). As a windbreaker, it worked well against coastal breezes. I had to layer up to stay warm, but the size of the jacket allowed for that. I listened to the other reviewers' advice about sizes and bought a small, which was the perfect size - only a little big. Definitely do not overestimate the size. Customer Rating: Summary: good jacket for money Comment: be sure to order a larger size than you normally do. Good jacket for golf bag and walking dogs in cool, windy or rainy weather. One side toggle didn't work but the other side does, so was still able to cinch waist. You can pay much more and get better quality, fit and styling, but for a journeyman windbreaker, this is a great deal.
